I'm a senior getting ready to graduate and I have to give a few words of advice/wisdom to the younger students at my youth group this next week since it's Senior Send-off week! What are some words of advice I could give them? Such as... work hard in school, stay away from drama, etc...

Make sure you keep up with your school work. With me, I always get my work done before I start talking to my friends so I don't have homework or whatever. I want my time at home to hang out and be myself. If you miss school, make sure your schoolwork is your first priority, instead of being with your friends. Study when you need to, and don’t procrastinate.

Another thing; try not to get into drama. If you hear something about someone, ignore it unless it will cause a fist fight, then tell an adult and that person to warn them. Because sometimes by telling someone about what someone else said about them, will actually cause a fist fight. That just recently happened to me just this week. Monday, my friend asked what this chick was saying about her so I told her. My friend got mad and got into a fight with her the next block and was suspended and didn’t get to come back until Friday, because I got in the middle of something that wasn't even about me.

Don't get caught up in what other people say about you. If they say you're ugly, ignore it. No one is ugly. Everyone has their own beauty. Same thing if people call you too skinny or fat. Ignore it. Story; my 13 year old sister committed suicide June 8th, 2011 almost a year ago. She hung herself in the backyard. Want to know why she did this? Because she got bullied. She was called ugly, fat, weird, psycho, freak, annoying, dumb, anything that you could think of. And of course she was Beautiful and an awesome person. She was a cook, artist, and a singer. Everybody that didn’t know her like I did wanted to fight her. When she was little she got pulled into the woods and got molested in the woods. She had temper tantrums really bad. Anger issues that made her threaten that she was going to kill herself. Ever since her death, I’ve been in a severe depression. Suicidal thoughts, self-harming myself, and anxiety/panic attacks. Because of what happened to my sister, I am totally against bullying.

Make sure you’re not bullying or judging others; don’t call people ugly, fat, weird, or just whatever, just because they look ‘different’ or don’t reach your expectations. If you see someone being bullied or hurt, stick up for them. Don’t just watch it happen. What good will that do? Bullying has been getting worse and worse each generation.

If you want a good reputation; make sure you are nice. If for some reason you have to be mean and act as if you’re better than anyone, don’t even bother being who you’re not (You said you’re nice). I’m one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I listen and help people. I don’t judge and I smile a lot. People call me pretty and beautiful. And I’m popular. I hang out with other popular people, with people that are really smart, people who do sports, and people who are alone and what you call a ‘nobody’ which is not true. Nobody is a ‘nobody’. You’re somebody to someone (:

I hope you have faith in God; it’s always nice to know someone who loves you more than anything. If you’re having a bad day, pray to God. Tell him your problems. Talk to him as if you’re talking to a friend. That’s what he’s there for. He will listen to you. Story; Ever since my sister died I have been praying to God, “Dear God, please let me see my sister one more time to hug her and tell her I love and miss her one last time. Just somehow, please.” And you know what, God answered my prayer. I had a dream on April 26th that my sister came down from heaven. And one of the best things happened. I hugged her for the longest time and told her I loved and missed her. Then God said that she had to go back up in Heaven to keep looking down on me. I woke up balling, knowing that dreams and memories are the only thing I have left of her. I miss her so much. That was the first and only dream I’ve had of her. God can do a lot for you if you have faith in him.

Boy drama; don’t get caught up in boyfriends. Boyfriends will make you stressed out. Story; the longest relationship I’ve been in is almost a year and just broke up on May 10th. Having a boyfriend wasn’t mixing well with my depression. This is why my parents say I can’t have a boyfriend. If you’re allowed to date, just make sure you’re stable and the person who you like is stable. I am not stable right now. I’m going on antidepressants and seeing a psychiatrist. If you are stable, just try to be happy and the best you can. Don’t listen to rumors about your boyfriend or the guy you like. If you have any suspicions, ask him yourself. Don’t get too committed to that person.

i understand the feeling. no longer thoroughly, yet I do. My mom is white, and my father is black. I got here from a small city someplace between bum f*cked and also you acquire a purdy mouf. Interracial couples were kept away from, and their offsrping(me) replaced into treated like the spawn of devil. I went to the vital with my mum and dad and had a sit down on the harassment. At this aspect, it really isn't any longer about being a snitch or some thing. What they're doing is against the law, and a persons'' eyes prefer to be opened. You do the talking, basically have your 'rents there for moral help. If the faculty take no steps in preventing this habit, them PLEASE evaluate filing with the faculty board. If that doesn't artwork, attempt to get PFLAG in touch. If that doesn't artwork, imagine about a lawsuit. i understand a sturdy one which helped me in my case. were given a pragmatic contract too ;) sturdy success kiddo, and keep your head up. it's going to all be over with quickly adequate. then you definitely get out of that podunk city and make some thing of your self. make certain you serve all of them Haterade once you go away too.

Get the grades, have fun, and plan ahead for the future.

For yourself, I would say that it's very important to know God in your life as a Christian and then pray about your life. You can pray the prayer below to be a Christian and God can help you live it out. When you are a Christian, then you can get God's guidance, help, and get to live in heaven forever after death, if you live a good, God-honoring life. If you live a life without knowing God, then you go to hell -- a bad place of suffering forever, when you die. Praying the prayer below will make you a Christian. Then, live it out with faith and love for God and Jesus Christ, love others, Bible study, prayer, and church. It's about having a relationship with God. God is our spiritual Father, Creator, life, love, all-powerful, all-knowing, holy, eternal.

This is how to know God -- the basic Christian message and prayer --- you need to accept God's Son, Jesus Christ, into your life to be a Christian and follow God's ways so you can receive God's guidance in your life and get to heaven after you die. Knowing God can transform your life. As God is love, life is primarily about love and relationships in order to have a rich and full life. Also, you need to know God's Son, Jesus Christ, in your life as your Lord and Savior as Jesus died on the cross as payment for our sins. Having Him with you will give you God's blessing and forgiveness, as you live God's way. Not following God leads to hell, eternal suffering. Instead, there is an important prayer to pray to become a Christian. This prayer should be said with faith in God and a sincere heart:

"Dear God, I know that I am a sinful person and I don't want to be like this anymore. I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross as payment for our sins, and I want to accept Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior so I can receive God's forgiveness, guidance, and go to heaven someday. Thank you, dear God, for your mercy and guidance; in Jesus' name. Amen."

This prayer can take you to a new place in your relationship with God and transform your life. After saying this prayer, you should check out a Christian church, like Baptist or Lutheran (not ELCA Lutheran). The church can get you baptized and prayed for, and you can pray for yourself daily.

The church can get you into their Bible study group so you can learn more about God, Jesus, and God's will for your life. The Bible is God's instruction book about how to live a God-honoring life so you can go to heaven after you die. Ways to stay connected to God's path include loving God and Jesus Christ, obeying God's ways, daily Bible reading, daily prayer for yourself and others, getting to church, having your church prayer group and/or pastor pray for you, fasting with prayer for a higher level of prayer, getting with other Christians and doing a Bible study, singing hymns to God, taking communion with the church, helping and loving others, expressing your gratitude to God for His help in your life by telling others of your progress and helping them draw closer to God too, tithing, volunteering at church. Continue to turn from sins and seek God's forgiveness in your life as you live your daily life. God guide your life.
