who would get the money? How would you divide it up?

Would you focus on well known ones like St Jude's Childrens Hospital and Habitat for Humanity or your local community charities like churches and maybe even schools?

I would donate all of it to Autism research or Autistic Society of America (ASA.) Although I'm sure that other charites are just as much in need of the money, autism cases have increased at an alarming rate in the past 5 years. Those affected by austism (not just the one who has it) including the family are affected everyday by this disability that keeps the person in a world of their own- most times unable to express themselves emotionally/socially. It is like being in a prison within yourself when you have Autism. I think someday we will find out the reason behind this diability but it takes $$$$ and that is why I would donate all of it to benefit research/treatment of autism.

That sounded like a Miss America question and answer- sorry

I think I would give 10% to the church, 40% to Special Olympics (locally) because giving to the National or State level does not mean your local teams will receive anything, 20% to the local Womens & Childrens Domestic Violence Center, 30% to Hospice as I've seen first hand what those with cancer need.

The local New Testament church was empowered by the Holy Spirit for God's work. No other organization has this promise, possesses this potential, or wields this power. Therefore, the million would do more good in a local New Testament church.

i like Deeks answer, giving to a school is a good idea and also telling them NOT to put it twords sports. so many activitys get cut and suplies always gets cut for the other classes and activitys jsut becuase the school cares so much about its soprts wich if anything should be the 1st thing to get cut!

i'd have to go with the hospital. i'd say the'd need the money most.

I would start a fund for the improvement of education in third world countries, designate myself as administrator with a good salary and promote new forms of education at all levels.

As it all belongs to God to begin with, I would rely on His guidance for distribution. It is merely up to me to be a good steward for the blessing. As of this time I believe it would be for my local church, a couple of national ministries, and to start a homeless shelter and foundation.

I'd give it to my local schools, with the stupulation that it COULD NOT be used for sports programs. Stupid things get funding even when everything else is being cut.
