It seems as though the answers are not important, just the fact that they asked a question is enough. I like the "Best answer" because it lets you know that the information provided was useful.(not to mention the next level points)

Well they sometimes are asking the question because the promblem is at hand at that very moment... once it's resolve they don't really care if they rate it or anything it's taken care of

Because going back through all of their asked questions to look for one or two they forgot to pick a best answer for wastes their time they could be answering, I mean they only get 2 point incentive to go back through all of them, and it's not easy clicking each one, it's not like you can add the ones you haven't rated to your watch list so you can remember if you answered or not.

THey wouldn't need to ask the question if they already new the answer. It is actually stupid for the asker to be able to choose the best answer.

I call a lot of votes because the answers can be close and I'd rather have other opinions. the answerer gets the ten points in the end if they get voted on anyway.
