Any Ideas??? Please help!!!?

Question

I need to do a group project for my business class, and in 10 weeks, we need to do something that WILL CHANGE THE WORLD! It could be some volunteer work, or anything that will do a good thing to the society. Please tell me if you have any ORIGINAL IDEAS about this project. This something need to be accomplished, and should be realistic to do. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Draft a bill

amnesty international (a letter campaign for the protection of political prisioners, South America, Guantanamo, Iraq, North Korea)

Greenpeace. The recent backdown of the nissu org and sea-lord in new zealand due to letter campaigns is a prime example of how you can change society on a global scale with the power of ink.



Do you believe in bushes war? If not start a letter campaign so we can all bring our boys home, US, UK and OZ boys.





for a 10 week assignment you don't want to send yourself bankrupt, think along the lines of what you can put into it physically and emotionally. You can think globaly or locally.



Are you able to organise a sit-in to bring awareness to some current problem that you see.



Organise activities at your local childrens hospital, you may not save the world but you will change the life of some terminally ill children. We have Canteen in Australia for children suffering with cancer/leukemia. It is a camp where they attend to have a break form their illness with other children.



Ronald Mcdonald house, fund raising. Put together a well planned proposition to large companies known for their social responibility, could be to support a local charity, mission.



organise collections in your area, a drive. Your local red cross may have some things going on. I'm assuming your in the States and being in Oz, myself i'm not exactly sure of what charities or missions you have. St Vincent De Paul are a fantastic society for homeless and poor.

Heres some of my Ideas:

Funding for a childrens Playground

Clean up a downtown area

Hold a huge Free spring BBQ for the homeless

Plant trees where needed?

Fair Trade awareness?

Photography Exibition about all the things that are corrupt in society and give the proceeds to a good cause eg Amnesty International.....Those are a few feesable things I think!

Andrew-in many cities across the nation, there is a place called the inner city. It is where the poor and homeless live. If you want to change the world, find a way to help the poor help themselves. Not a government program to take care of them--a solution. Like open a laundromat in a poor section of your city and have people from that neighborhood run it. Let them help stock things, fix things, manage things...etc. If people (any people) have ownership in something, they take care of it and stand up for it. There are many inner city churches in different cities--there may be one near you. That would be a great place to start looking for ideas to do your project.

FIND A WAY TO GIVE THE ELDERLY MORE IN SOCIAL SECURITY, HEALTH BENEFITS, AND ETC.



HOW ABOUT FINDING A WAY TO BETTER HELP HURICANE, STORM, FIRE, OF FLOOD VICTIMS. I.E LIKE ALREADY HAVING A FUND JUST THAT ALONE SET UP, AND SCREEN THEY WORKERS BETTER BECAUSE THEY BE STEALING FROM THE FUNDS.



FIND A WAY TO EXPEDITE DEATH ROW INMATES SO OUR TAX DOLLARS WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR THEIR FREE FOOD, TV, CABLE, AND ETC.



FIND AN EASIER WAY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INNONCENT AND HAVE PROOF WITHOUT A RESAONABLE DOUBT TO GET OUT OF PRISON WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE HASSLE OF ANOTHER TRIAL.



FIND A WAY TO CUT THESE WELFARE MOTHERS OFF WHO ARE RECEIVING MONEY AND FOOD STAMPS WHO ARE LIVING IN SECTION-8 HOUSING AND SHACKING UP WITH THEIR NOGOOD BABY DADDIES WHO CANT EVEN HELP THEM BUY A CAN OF MILK.



THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF WORLD CHANGING IDEAS THAT WILL CHANGE THE WORLD. GOOD LUCK AND TELL ME WHAT YOU AND YOUR CREW DECIDED TO DO YOUR PROJECT ON!!

Completely cut off dependence on foreign oil, crank up the refineries for the soybean and peanut made BioDiesel...and the corn made ethanol.

BioDiesel replaces Diesel fuel

Ethanol replaces regular unleaded gasoline.

We can grow soybean,peanuts,and corn all here in the US...

so we can supply our own demand.

Over produce food in the rich and fertile countries and stockpile it in the third world countries, in locked compounds guarded against theft and racketeering. keeping them all fed, police all aspects of distribution. put together a real and workable program for sustainable self producing of crops / food. so they can help themselves out of starvation and poverty, for good. with our help they can, if we watch over them and help until they can do it for themselves.
